Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening launches tomorrow. How much do you know about the new season’s content – the new seasonal mechanics, Mythic Uniques 3.0 and the new Solo Self-Found (SSF) mode?

On this final night before the new season begins, beyond familiarizing yourself with the essentials, you need to learn a crucial leveling trick that will let you outpace 99% of other players in the early game. It allows you to jump from Level 1 to Level 70 in just one hour-saving you anywhere from a week to half a month of grinding.

A key prerequisite for this highly efficient strategy is completing Lord of Hatred story campaign-something most players will have already done. Now, join D4GOLD.com as we explore the core details of this amazing leveling strategy.

Step 1

1. Create a Character

All seasonal characters will transfer to Eternal Realm once the season ends. So, your first step is to create a new character on Seasonal Realm. Regarding class choice: following the balance adjustments in Diablo 4 Season 14, this strategy works for any class-though Druids and Barbarians remain top-tier choices.

The new season also introduces a single-player experience – Solo Self-Found mode – so if you prefer playing alone, you can choose that option. Once your character is created, simply set the difficulty to Normal.

2. Temis

Locate Temis on the map and mark it as a favorite location so you can teleport there directly later.

Located in Skovos Isles, Temis has been designated Ultimate Endgame Hub for Season 14, housing all of the game’s core systems in one place.

It is home to War Plan Table, and the four key artisans-Occultist, Blacksmith, Jeweler, and Alchemist – as well as Artificer’s Obelisk and Purveyor of Curiosities, are all clustered near the town center.

For players looking to save time in the early game, the ability to teleport instantly to these locations is a major advantage.

Additionally, Temis serves as the base for all Mercenaries; this is where you will find Subo, the mercenary you’ll be recruiting next. It also serves as the direct access point for Pit and the new Tower & Leaderboards features introduced in Season 14; it is an essential hub for checking the strength of your build during the endgame phase.

Saving unnecessary travel time is crucial, whether in the early game or the late game.

3. Subo

D4GOLD.com recommends locking in Subo as your mercenary.

Subo is known in Diablo 4 community as a map-wide radar thanks to his special skill, Seeker. As your first mercenary, he automatically marks nearby enemies and harvestable materials.

Additionally, he actively marks a specific enemy target; killing this marked target instantly restores 50% of your maximum Energy and reduces Subo’s own cooldown by 10 seconds.

Consequently, Subo is arguably your greatest asset during the early-game progression phase of the new season.

Of course, don’t forget to summon your personal pet, which will automatically pick up dropped gold, gear, and materials while you farm mobs in the early game.

Step 2

1. War Plan Table

Head to War Plan Table and run Double Helltide mission.

A single Helltide run grants only 25 XP, requiring four runs for the first milestone and fourteen runs to reach 350 XP for the second. Although Penitent increases rewards to 43 XP per run, it is too demanding for early-game players lacking Diablo 4 gold.

Thus, enter Helltide on Normal difficulty, collect 150 Aberrant Cinders to complete the objective, and avoid opening any chests during the process.

After completing the objective, teleport back to Temis, switch the difficulty to Penitent, and return to Helltide zone. Look for Helltide Chests located in areas with few or no mobs, open them quickly, and then retreat.

By combining this with the chests you left unopened from the previous run, you can open at least two Helltide Chests. Since you are doing this on Penitent difficulty, the quality and quantity of the loot are improved, significantly boosting your leveling efficiency.

Once you have successfully opened two chests and finished Double Helltide run, you should reach approximately Level 35-taking about 40 minutes in total-before moving on to the next step.

2. Hellworm

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Writhe and Rot is a top-tier node within Helltide War Plan Tree. It forces the spawning of a large number of Hellmouth Maggots when you trigger or kill a Hellworm during a Helltide event. Killing these Hellmouth Maggots yields Experience Orbs containing massive amounts of XP, providing a tremendous boost for rapid leveling.

Beyond providing the vast amounts of XP required for early-game progression, Helltide events are also a crucial source for obtaining Lair Boss Keys and materials for boss entry tickets in the late game.

Of course, once Diablo 4 Season 14 goes live, you also have the option to buy Diablo 4 Lair Keys from D4GOLD.com; orders are fulfilled quickly, safely, and reliably.

Hellworms spawn very frequently; according to our testing, you can go from Level 35 to Level 70 in about 20 minutes.

Items Upgrades

Of course, such rapid leveling comes with potential downsides. For instance, leveling too quickly can result in your gear falling behind your character’s level requirements. Since this strategy doesn’t demand high-level gear to execute, you might find yourself at Level 70 with equipment that is insufficient for the challenges that follow.

Generally, to keep your weapons aligned with your character level, you should return to town every ten levels to acquire new weapons from vendors. To maintain leveling efficiency, you can switch the difficulty to Hard while farming Helltide; this allows you to open more chests and gather the resources needed to upgrade your gear.

In short, leveraging Double Helltide method is currently the most popular and efficient leveling strategy in the community – verified through testing by D4GOLD.com – allowing you to power-level from 1 to 70 in under an hour during the early stages of Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening.
